The UCLA Center for Health Policy Research’s Health Policy Seminar Series continues with an insider’s look at Israel’s universal health care system. Two Ben Gurion University scholars will provide a fresh perspective on a universal challenge: Providing health care coverage to all.
Dani Filc, a senior lecturer in the Department of Politics and Government, and Nadav Davidovitch, a senior lecturer at the university’s Department of Health Systems Management, Faculty of Health Sciences, will discuss Israel’s socialized system of health care (rated the 28th best in the world by WHO in 2000) with its unique mixture of private, semi-private and public entities.
