HealthyCity invites you to participate in a free webinar and an interactive online guide on August 27 to explore how to use HealthyCity.org for community research and engagement.  The online guide takes you through different steps and links for using HealthyCity.org for community-based, action-oriented research and mapping. The webinar will provide additional instruction on using the website to document community expertise, strengths, and concerns. The guide and webinar will highlight several website features, such as Wikimaps, Stories, and Neighborhoods, that you can use to engage community members. The webinar will feature examples from community-based mapping projects that combined maps with social media, community organizing, or youth development to directly impact the lives of the people doing the research.

By the end of the webinar, participants will:
- Learn how to create maps to demonstrate community issues and conditions.
- Better understand and use HealthyCity.org tools for participatory action research.
- Hear examples from community-based mapping projects and how organizations used these for community engagement.
